We represent approximately 500 participating children in the Essex Baseball/Softball Program. These children look forward to the opportunity to play ball each Spring. We have many volunteers who teach, coach, umpire, raise funds and accomplish the numerous administrative tasks essential to the success of our program. Many of you have shared in the support of our program in the past and your continued support is vital to the success of our program. We are asking for donations so we can continue to keep registration fees down for the local residents. The cost of running a Baseball or Softball team is approximately $1,000.00 per team while registration only covers less than one-half of that cost. As such, we are dependent upon donations and fundraising. The Essex Baseball/Softball Program has been a staple in the community for over 57 years. We are in need of your support. These children reside here in our community. They are your neighbors and probably your own children or family member.

For the benefit of our youth and our community and as a member and merchant of our community, we sincerely ask that you consider making a donation to support our program and help these boys and girls. Your contribution goes directly toward the running of the program. Upon request, you will receive a receipt for tax purposes. We are a non-profit organization and any donation you make is tax deductible and our Federal ID # is 52-1071200.

Please make your check payable to Essex Baseball/Softball. For your donation, we will place an ad in our Allstar and Trophy Day Sponsorship booklet which is given to each child if requested. Gold receives a full page ad and a team plaque, Silver receives a half page ad, and others will also receive a smaller ad. Please provide us with your artwork or we will create an ad for you.
